Vellum labels are a variation of coated labels, but their surface is unpolished, matte, and rough. This rough texture prevents glare in ribbon printing and ensures high-quality print results, making them a frequently preferred choice for barcode scanning systems. Because they are paper-based, they are not suitable for outdoor use. Ribbon quality determines the label's durability, and these labels generally last between 1 and 3 years. Durability varies depending on the quality of the ribbon and usage conditions.
